Steve Mason famously selected Colin, with the agreement of the band, to produce this album after hearing his production on Jamelia’s “BOUT” at the Parlophone offices in 2000. Recorded at Parkgate Studios in Hastings and mixed at Strongroom Studios in London, the album was completed on a tight schedule due to the band’s North American tour with Radiohead.

Since its release, it has been hailed as a defining masterpiece of the era, peaking at Number 13 in the UK Official Albums Chart and Number 3 in the Independent Albums Chart. The project received a Mercury Prize nomination and was included in the book ‘1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.’

• HBO’s ‘Six Feet Under’: The track “Squares” was featured in Season 1 and included on the show’s official Grammy-nominated soundtrack.

• FX/Marvel’s ‘Legion’: Both “Squares” and “Al Sharp” were featured prominently across the series, with “Al Sharp” notably used in the series finale.
