Flipping the Cinematic Narrative
reSco Pic1 1400x1400

A project born from a simple, yet rigorous constraint: The title “reSco” is “Score” flipped. Colin takes iconic film trailers and composes an entirely new score, with a catch—every sound must be sampled from the film’s original soundtrack. It is a technical masterclass in sonic economy, proving that a film’s “DNA” can be re-sequenced to tell a completely different story.

The Rules for a reSco:

1. Pick a movie trailer.

2. Make a beat using only samples from the original soundtrack. (Additional original music can be added).

3. Sync it to the trailer.
